Shangri-La Toronto

Called Living Shangri-La Toronto, the 65-storey tower at University Avenue and Adelaide Street will combine a five-star hotel and a luxury condominium. Located across from the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, it will contain 220 guest rooms and, above them, 352 residences. Owners of those suites will have access to the hotel's spa and pool, as well as 24-hour conveniences such as housekeeping and room service.
The Toronto tower, situated between the financial and entertainment districts, will include 279 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suites from the 18th to 48th floor. Original prices range from $550,000 to $1.7-million.
Starting on the 49th floor, there will be 71 executive suites measuring between 1,900 and 3,700 square feet. Originally priced from $2.1-million to over $5-million, these units will feature separate elevators, lobbies, and concierge and valet services. There are a few two-level plans with double-height ceilings in the main living room.
The two penthouse units will have more than 6,000 square feet of space and cost about $10-million each.
Purchasers can expect to move in beginning in 2012.
